The corporate and establishment over-reaction to what was, in the event, a mere riot in history's long catalogue of tumults, represents a greater threat to democracy than anything the rioters were capable of mustering. The Democrat and liberal hatred of Trump is so all consuming that they are willing to trash the First Amendment to get back at their nemesis and to suppress his supporters. Whether they impeach him or prosecute him or simply run him out of town, I don't much care. But the right of people to speak whatever is on their uninformed and empty minds should not be infringed by anyone. [ read ]
